Throughout February, Washington County and Les Schwab are partnering to offer free tire recycling. No purchase is necessary. Bring used tires to a participating Les Schwab location for proper disposal and help prevent harmful chemicals—such as PFAS and 6PPD-quinone—from polluting our streams, rivers, and wildlife habitats.
Improperly discarded tires break down over time, releasing toxins that pose serious risks to aquatic life and the health of our watershed. While drop-off is free, you can ‘pay it forward’ by supporting the Tualatin Riverkeepers with our ongoing efforts to protect and restore the Tualatin River watershed where we all live, work, or play.
