July 11th, 2025
9:00AM - 12:00PM
@ Cook Park Boat Ramp

Ready to get started with kayaking?

In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn the essential skills for paddling on flatwater like the beautiful Tualatin River. We'll teach you how to safely get in and out of your kayak from shore, paddle straight, turn, back up, and stop—all in a relaxed and supportive environment. You'll have plenty of time to practice your new skills on the water.

This class is great for individuals or partners. Solo and tandem kayaks are available. The boat, paddle, and life jacket are provided.

Build your confidence and take the first step toward your paddling adventures!
