Guided Lower Tualatin River Paddle Raft Trip

May 4th, 2025
9:00AM - 1:00PM
@ Shipley Bridge and Boat Launch

Join us for an exciting paddle raft trip down the lower 5 miles of the Tualatin River! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rafter, this trip promises fun. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with nature and fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Grab your gear and let's hit the water together!

Navigate the river's twists and turns, enjoy beautiful scenery, and learn about the river's fascinating history as we paddle from Stafford Road (Rivermile 5.4) to West Linn's Willamette Park (Rivermile 0.0). This difficult-to-access section of the river is a unique blend of easy, flat water and delightful whitewater. Once past the Lake Oswego Corp Diversion Dam at RM 3.4, higher winter and spring flows provide fun, easy rapids down to Willamette Park. Visit the Lake Oswego Corp Diversion Dam, public launch locations, and city parks along the way as we review progress on the water trail, 30+ years since it was first proposed.

Location: Meet at the Shipley Bridge Launch, just east of Stafford Road. The trip ends at Willamette Park in West Linn (we will make shuttle arrangements after you register)

Details: We will be in stable, 6-person paddle rafts.

Space is limited, and personal flotation devices must be worn at all times. TRK trips may be cancelled due to severe weather (lightning, flooding, ice, etc.), but will take place in the rain. Please dress accordingly. We request that you arrive 30 minutes early.

Tickets: Limited tickets are available for purchase HERE. All proceeds benefit TRK and the Tualatin River.

Please review the General Paddle Trip Information sheet before the paddle trip. REVIEW IT HERE.
