Discovery Day is June 28!

This year the Discovery Paddle Trip is from Eagle Landing near Scholls 5.5 miles to Metro's Greenspace. A leisurely trip through some beautiful scenery in a stretch of the river that is seldom paddled. Our volunteers will make sure you have a good time. Free shuttle provided. Mayors, Councilors, Commissioners, Senators and Representatives will be racing before Discovery Day gets started at 7:45am at Eagle Landing on Rainbow Lane. Don't be late to this exciting race.

Fanno Creek Restoration Field Trip - June 10 at 6:30pm

Tualatin Riverkeepers Citizen Action Committee invites you to join us for a walking tour of restoration projects along Fanno Creek. Our tour guide will be Kendra Smith, Ecologist for Clean Water Services. We will meet at Fowler Middle School, 10865 SW Walnut in Tigard at 6:30pm on Tuesday June 10. Bring a friend. Nature Awareness Talk & Walk

Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 1pm to 3pm

Tigard Public Library

Tualatin Riverkeepers volunteers will lead a two hour nature walk where adults and kids of all ages are welcome to come learn about the wildlife that exist at the Tigard Public Library Wetlands and along the adjacent Fanno Creek Trail.  Learn Nature Awareness techniques that will help you identify wildlife: tracks and sign and enrich your experiences in nature. For Adventurers Entering Grades 4-6

Tualatin Riverkeepers is offering two 3-day day camp sessions this summer for adventurers entering grades 4-6. The session at Rood Bridge Park will be June 23-25. The Cook Park session is August 4-6. Activities include tracking, botany, ethnobotany, birding, wildlife explorations and canoeing.
