A second generation Riverkeeper, Molly has a lifelong relationship with the river and brings real enthusiasm for its protection and restoration to the TRK board.  She has taken an interest in the health of watersheds for “as long as I can remember. The Tualatin River became the foundation of my passion for water, and the catalyst to pursue watershed and ecosystem health further. The river has been an integral part of my life.” Molly graduated from Linfield College where she studied environmental science with a water focus. Her past professional experience includes working for nine years at the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation on watershed issues. She recently started a new position at WaterWatch of Oregon as their Individual Gifts and Events Manager. Molly has a proven track record managing programs and coordinating fundraising events both as a volunteer and an employee. Molly currently serves on TRK’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team, is a Volunteer Trip Leader, and brings her coordinating skills to this year’s Auction Committee. In her free time, Molly often spends weekends on the Tualatin canoeing, running through the parks or exploring the trails with her dog, rain or shine. “While I never thought that picking up golf balls from the side of the Tualatin River from our canoe as a child would eventually spur my career, I’m so happy that it did!”
