Tualatin Riverkeepers believes in “clean rivers and dirty kids” and to help facilitate that we provide a nature awareness and service learning education
program for students in grades K-8. Our field trips are designed to help students use exploration to
gain an understanding of basic ecological and cultural concepts as well as understand and enjoy the nature in their neighborhood.
Field trip curricula are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) as well as the Oregon Environmental Literacy Program (OELP) learning standards and are designed to instill an early interest in conservation, foster scientific curiosity, and build life-long stewards for local natural areas.
