Join Tualatin Riverkeepers and Willamette Valley Vineyards as we experience the ins and outs of sustainable agriculture in the Tualatin River watershed firsthand. Hear from viticulturist Clay Wesson how best practices are applied at the vineyard and learn what it means to make a commitment to sustainable standards. We will explore various biodynamic farming practices that optimize water use, maintain biodiversity in habitats, and hear the stories behind the wine production process.
This event includes a tour of the vineyard estate with Clay, lunch, wine tasting, and the opportunity to purchase wine. Come with us for a fun and educational day exploring a local watershed business while supporting Tualatin Riverkeepers!

We will meet at the Tualatin Riverkeepers office before traveling as a group to Tualatin Estate Vineyard & Tasting Room in Forest Grove.

Established in 1973, Tualatin Estate is home to one of the most respected vineyard sites in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Wine grapes from the 145-acre vineyard have produced world-renowned wines for over 40 years.
