Paddle Volunteer Training Equipment & Procedures Session

Tualatin Riverkeepers (TRK) is a community-based nonprofit working to protect, restore, and enjoy the Tualatin River watershed by promoting environmental stewardship, and we LOVE when our community volunteers with us, especially on river paddles!

Now that you've attended our Paddle Volunteer overview session, the next step is to attend a riverside launch site training that will cover use of our trailers, equipment, boats, and paddling gear, while also going over trip procedures, responsibilities, safety, and COVID-19 protocols that are required on each outing.

Note that we will NOT be paddling, but we will be outdoors.

This session is required for all Paddle Volunteers. Like previous sessions, there are two times being offered, but you are only required to attend one.

Registering for this event will reserve a spot on Thursday, May 6th at the Tualatin Riverkeepers Office/99W Boat Launch. Please contact Mark Fitzsimons at mark@tualatinriverkeepers.org if you have any questions about commitments and requirements beforehand.
