Become a Paddle Volunteer with Tualatin Riverkeepers

Tualatin Riverkeepers (TRK) is a community-based nonprofit working to protect, restore, and enjoy the Tualatin River watershed by promoting environmental stewardship, and we LOVE when our community volunteers with us, especially on river paddles!

We are holding TWO online training opportunities specifically for volunteers who want to become Paddle Volunteers with Tualatin Riverkeepers. This kind of volunteering requires some additional training to facilitate river-safe and welcoming paddle experiences for everyone. This session includes an introduction to the Tualatin River, the volunteer roles available, and a brief review of our fleet and paddle equipment.

Even if you've volunteered with us before, we highly recommend that you attend this session as we're changing our training structure and requirements.

Registering for this event will reserve a spot on Saturday, April 24th at 10:00AM. While this training is free, we do require registration to distribute online attendance information. This training will occur via Zoom.

Please contact Mark Fitzsimons at mark@tualatinriverkeepers.org if you have any questions about commitments and requirements beforehand.
