Pease join us in removing invasive plant species and weeds to beautify Field Bridge Park and improve habitat for native plants and wildlife with our partners, SOLVE and the City of West Linn. Tools and gloves will be available, but it is helpful if you can bring your own gloves, hand saws, and loppers/pruners. Please follow current Covid-19 guidelines. Currently, masks are not required for outdoor activities per the Oregon Health Authority but wear a mask if you are more comfortable with that. We avoid forming large groups. Bring a filled reusable water bottle if desired. Bottled water and granola bars are provided. Comfortable closed-toe shoes. Pants and long sleeves are encouraged as some plants can scrape and scratch. Dress appropriately in layers, for the weather conditions. We work in the rain so if it rains bring rain gear. The ground is somewhat uneven and can be muddy and slippery, so caution is advised when on the dirt trails. It is, unfortunately, not suitable for those with ADA needs.
- Parking: It is preferred that you park nearest the Community Garden (which is next to the bridge that crosses the Tualatin river). Alternatively, the main parking lot at Fields Bridge Park (near the baseball fields) can be used.
- Restrooms: There is a public restroom in the park near the baseball fields.
- Where to Meet: The park address is 821 Willamette Falls Drive. Meet at the covered shelter near the Community Garden.
- Contact: Jeff Kohne (TRK Volunteer) at email@example.com or text cellphone 503-867-1075, for questions or concerns.
Registration is through SOLVE. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the lead volunteer on the project, Jeff Kohne, or our Stewardship Coordinator, Brittany Leffel, at firstname.lastname@example.org
