Get fresh air and exercise while meeting new friends as we walk along the Tualatin River!
Join us on Saturday, June 12th on a 1.5 mile round-trip walk along the Tualatin Ice Age Trail that highlights the ancient history of the area. Along the trail, discover evidence of 18,000-year old ice, rocks, and bone; including the sites where mastodon and ground sloths were unearthed. The trail also leads to a portion of the Tualatin ArtWalk, featuring sculptures, engravings and other Ice Age-inspired works of art.
We'll meet at 2:00PM at:
Tualatin Public Library
18878 Southwest Martinazzi Avenue
Path is paved and good for strollers, but please wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing; bring water and a snack. Tickets are sold by family groups. Contact mark@tualatinriverkeepers with any questions.
