Dirksen Nature Park Work Party

Join Tualatin Riverkeepers for an evening of removing invasive plants like English ivy and holly at Dirksen Nature Park. This much-loved park is such a staple to the history of our organization and we want to continue building that sense of place with community members.

This is a neighborhood-friendly event. If you live near Dirksen Nature Park, bring your family and invite your neighbors!

We will meet under the tree in front of the Dirksen Nature Center. Parking is very limited, and while there is street parking available, we encourage carpooling for those that have the option to do. Outdoor volunteer events will happen rain or shine. Please wear comfortable clothes that you aren't afraid to get dirty. All supplies will be provided.

Note: If you plug Dirksen Nature Park into maps, it will take you to the other side of the park. Enter this address instead: 11100 SW Tigard St, Tigard, OR 97223. You can view the map here:

If you have any questions, please email our Stewardship Coordinator, Brittany Leffel, at brittany@tualatinriverkeepers.org.
