In addition to an update on Tualatin Riverkeepers 2019 highlights and successes, we’re excited to announce author John Daniels, a former Wallace Stegner Fellow and Jones Lecturer at Stanford University who has won three Oregon Book Awards for Literary Nonfiction plus a Pacific Northwest Booksellers Award, will enlighten attendees with an inspiring presentation about our state’s rivers which he has been writing about since 1985.

John also teamed with local photographer Larry Olson to create the coffee-table book Oregon Rivers, which focuses on our state’s designated wild and scenic rivers, and highlights the geologic, hydrologic, biologic, and spiritual qualities of rivers generally.
