Tualatin Riverkeepers rely on a dedicated and knowledgeable team of volunteers to facilitate field trip programs. Each year a new group of enthusiastic volunteers goes through Naturalist Training which prepares them and to lead outdoor lessons and activates at Dirksen Nature Park, in Tigard and Tualatin River Farm near Hillsboro.

Volunteer Naturalists facilitate school presentations and field trips using curriculum developed by the Environmental Education Coordinator. TRK serves children (ages K-8) in the Tualatin River watershed, primarily from Washington County schools.
